LONDON: Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik, while talking on the phone to MQM chief Altaf Husaain assured that the security would be provided to the citizens of Karachi at all costs.
After arriving London today, Malik contacted MQM chief on the telephone. Both leaders discussed overall law and order situation of the country specially current political state of Karachi.
Altaf demanded better security for the people of Karachi and asked for practical steps to resolve their problems particularly for the victims of Sher Shah incident.
Malik assured him not only of better security arrangements for Sher Shah Scrap Market but also the financial aid for the victims.
The federal minister conveyed goodwill messages from the President Zardari and the Prime Minister Gilani to the MQM chief. – DawnNews
