Malik discusses security situation with Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Friday that in order to deal with terrorism more efficiently, intelligence information will be shared with the Punjab Government as soon as possible.

Malik was speaking in Lahore where he was meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Malik discussed strategies to maintain law and order with Sharif.

Malik also asked the Punjab Government to submit a report with the details of the blast on the shrine of Baba Farid Shakarganj.

The minister was also updated with the latest developments taking place in the province by the Punjab Government.

DG Rangers, Raja Riaz and Rana Sanaullah were also present during the meeting. – DawnNews
